The Asia Game Festival (AGF) is jointly held with the China International Comics Festival (CICF) from October 2-5 in Guangzhou.

The event has become a vibrant showcase for the rising appeal of Chinese-themed content. Beyond the spectacular cosplay and gaming previews, a compelling narrative emerged from attendees: a deep appreciation for the unique artistic and philosophical depth of Chinese stories, highlighting a preference for subtle emotion and moral complexity over binary narratives in Chinese games.
