In 2013, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) (the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road) was proposed. In the past 10 years, BRI has grown from a seed to a lush tree, providing the world with a path to peace, prosperity, and openness.
Under the guidance of the “Double Eight Strategy”, Jinhua, located in the center of Zhejiang, has taken the initiative to give play to its advantages in transportation, trade, culture, etc., striving to build itself into an important node city involved in BRI. With the big channel of opening up to the outside world as the direction, the trade as the pillar, and the people-to-people bond as the foundation, Jinhua is continuously enhancing the connectivity in policy, infrastructure, trade, finance, and people-to-people contacts. Thanks to its efforts, it has become one of the most dynamic cities involved in BRI.
Jinhua has achieved fruitful results in BRI cooperation, including the "YXE" China-European Railway Express facilitating China-Europe relations, Yiwu International Trade Market trading with the whole world, the deepened cooperation with Africa, the enhanced global presence of Wu Opera, and so on. As an inland city, Jinhua has demonstrated to the rest of the world the all-round, multi-level, and wide-ranging opening-up, cultural exchanges, and mutual learning in the new development pattern of domestic and international dual circulation, contributing its unique strength to BRI cooperation.

In the coming days, 30 internet celebrities and journalists from more than 20 countries will visit Dongyang, Yiwu, etc. to explore the film and television culture, market trade, e-commerce live broadcast, beautiful countryside, and intangible cultural heritage of Zhejiang. They will use their cameras to record and communicate Jinhua's development vitality and cultural charm as an important contributor to BRI.
