广东顺德坐拥祠堂数百座，其中近百年来面积最大、名声最显赫的，当属陈氏大宗祠。宗祠占地9600多平方米，总面宽约48米，总进深约85米，建筑面积4000多平方米，被誉为广州陈家祠“姐妹祠”，堪称岭南文化建筑的明珠与典范。 陈氏大宗祠属典型的岭南抬梁式结构硬山顶建筑，青云巷门额、门檐上及旁边屋脊上的砖雕、灰雕、陶塑巧夺天工。如今，陈氏大宗祠堂内，古朴的气韵流淌在青砖墙瓦间，处处蕴藏着匠心之作、血脉传承的典故。
