CANTOR KRISTEN LEE from Columbia University and SOTO SEBASTIAN JAMES from New York University won the only merit award in the international group of the 2024 Global Conference for Reciting Chinese Poetry on November 17th.They recited love poems about a great poet and his long-time lover, allowing the audience to appreciate the artistic charm of Chinese poetry, which transcends mountains and seas, and bridges the past and the present. Despite different culturalbackgrounds, the melancholic sentiment expressed in the Song Dynasty verse resonated with both Chinese and international audiences.




来自哥伦比亚大学、纽约大学的CANTOR KRISTEN LEE和SOTO SEBASTIAN JAMES，11月17日拿下2024全球中华诗词吟诵大会暨第八届中华诗词吟诵大会国际组唯一的特等奖。两人吟诵大词人与老恋人的爱情诗，让现场观众领略到中华诗词跨越山海、沟通古今的艺术魅力。尽管文化背景不同，但“山盟虽在，锦书难托”的宋词怅惘之情依然引起中外共鸣。
