This ancient wedding ceremony created a special and romanticambiance for the newlyweds and was highly favored by contemporary generations. Along a 9.9-mile-long waterway, a number that symbolizes "forever" in #Chinese, the newlyweds sailed together toward happiness. In 2008, the on-water #wedding waslisted on the second batch of national intangible #cultural heritage representative items. 据悉，水上婚嫁是珠海斗门水乡一种流行了数百年的传统民俗，源于疍家人对歌成亲的礼仪。2008年，珠海斗门水上婚嫁成功入选国家级第二批非遗名录，成为珠海市首个国家级非遗项目。
