Art and Culture | On the morning of 24 August, the 13th Zhengxian Birthday Cultural Tourism Week was held in Baiyun #Mountain. The event combined traditional Chinese medicine with modern trendy elements to create a unique trail. Locals and tourists could taste the high-end tea in Guangdong, beat the drum representing blessing, and experience regimen activities. The "Zheng Xian Birth" festival has a #history of more than 1,600 years and is known as the "First Birth" festival of #Guangzhou. This festival originated from the legend that Zheng Anzhi went up Baiyun Mountain to collect #medicines to save the sick people in Guangzhou and died after falling off a cliff. To commemorate his kindness and greatness, later generations regarded the 25th day of the 7th lunar month as the "Zhengxian Birth". #artandculture




8月24日上午，第十三届郑仙诞文化旅游周在广州市白云山风景名胜区山顶广场盛大启动。此次郑仙诞活动融合传统中医药五行学说与现代年轻人喜闻乐见的潮流元素，打造独具特色的“郑仙福道”。市民游客可品尝广府非遗茶饮、敲响祈福仙鼓，参与养生体验，感受岭南人健康养生理念。“郑仙诞”已有一千六百多年的历史，被誉为“广州第一诞”。这一“千年古诞”来源于郑安期为拯救广州城生病的百姓，上白云山采药，不慎跌落悬崖驾鹤飞升的传说。后人为纪念郑仙的大爱大善，将每年农历七月二十五日定为“郑仙诞”。
